Residents of the LIFE community are at least 22 years of age and lead rewarding and independent lives with supports provided
by the LIFE program.
Residents at LIFE have:

A history of a significant learning disability.

The ability to live without 24 hour supervision.

Independence in basic self-care skills.

Appropriate behavior in unsupervised settings.
-
The ability to work or perform a volunteer job at least 15-20 hours per week.

The desire to cultivate friendships and participate in the LIFE community.

A supportive and involved family member.
The LIFE program is not appropriate for individuals with a history of illegal behavior, behavior and emotional deficits non-conducive to independent living, or alcohol/ substance abuse issues.
